Connecting Your Meaning of Life
Suffering, doing it tough and not feeling ok is a part of our life.
The experience of suffering and feeling that life is overwhelming at times, is a part of being human. All suffering is tough, but not all suffering needs to be meaningless. Viktor Frankl speaks of a human’s underlying “defiant power”, that part of us, our true self and unchanging spirit, that motivates our ability to stand up and live a meaningful life in spite of our suffering.
We often feel like we are at the whim of the world around us, that we are a product of our past and moulded by those around us. We might find ourselves asking:
- ‘How can I make meaningful change in the world’?
- ‘Who am I really, and where do I stand amongst all this?
- ‘I feel powerless to do anything about the world’s issues’
Perhaps it’s time to start living according to your own ‘defiant power’
The cost of our sessions is $100 for a 1-hour sessions. Some of our counsellors offer reduced fees for Australian residents with a health care card and those on a Centrelink benefit. Some practitioners also offer Health insurance rebates with Bupa, Medibank, and AHRG
